Solanco Youth Soccer Association

Solanco Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) is a community-based organization located in Southern Lancaster County. Our mission is to provide children in our community with the opportunity to learn, play, and enjoy the exciting game of soccer. We offer a range of programs designed to cater to players of all ages and skill levels, from intramural leagues for our youngest players to travel leagues for those seeking more competitive play.

Leagues and Programs

At SYSA, we offer the following leagues and programs:

• *Intramural League (Ages Under 6 and Under 8)*: Our intramural league is designed for our youngest players and is intended to be a fun and educational experience. Teams play games with other SYSA teams, and games/practices are held at the same location. There are no referees, and the score is not kept. The registration fee is $75 per player.

• *Recreational League (Ages Under 10, Under 12, Under 15 and Under 18)*: Our recreational league is designed for players who want to play against teams outside of SYSA. Games have referees, and the score is kept. The league includes a soccer tournament at the end of the season. The registration fee is $95 per player, and a $25 volunteer fee is added unless you choose to opt-out by volunteering for the club during the season.

• *Travel League (Ages Under 10, Under 12, Under 15 and Under 18)*: Our travel league is designed for players seeking more competitive play. The league requires tryouts to form a team, and competition is greater than the recreational league. Away games require travel, which could be significant. The registration fee is $125 plus a $85 uniform fee per player.

Registration and Payment

To register for a season, please use the links found on the home page. Payments can be made via credit card during registration or by mail-in check. Checks can be mailed to: SYSA P.O. Box 461 Quarryville, PA 17566.

Volunteer Clearances for Head Coach Position

Clearances are required for all coaching positions. PA Volunteer Clearances, Safesport, and Concussion training are required and available once registered through the registration website.

Coach Information

We provide training documents, coach's notes, and training plans to help our coaches provide the best possible experience for our players. Parents can find information and expectations for each season's registration periods, practice days, and game schedules on our website.

Inclement Weather and Field Locations

Coaches will decide whether to hold practice and/or games in the event of inclement weather. Notification of any cancellations or delays will come directly from them. Field locations are determined once approval is received from the school district, and details will be provided by the team coach.
