Our Mission

At Our Home Sweet Home, LLC, our mission is to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, traumatic brain injuries, and those with emotional or mental health needs. Our goal is to support our residents in maintaining their highest level of functioning, independence, physical, emotional, and social well-being. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing high-quality care, dignity, and compassion to every individual who calls our home sweet home.

About Our Home

Our home is located in the Lincoln Creek neighborhood in the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our secluded ranch-style home is minutes away from several community resources, including Bell Therapy, Samuel Clemens School, Urban Foot Care Center, Amir Counseling, and the United States Post Office. Our home features 3 private bedrooms, a spacious living room with a large fireplace, an open kitchen, a backyard patio, and 2.5 bathrooms. Our home is accessible to ambulatory adults only.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to support our residents' daily living needs, including:

  • Assisted living care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals
  • Medication administration and management
  • Transportation to and from appointments and outings
  • Leisure activities and social programs to promote socialization and friendship
  • Personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Meal preparation and dining assistance
  • Housekeeping and laundry services
  • Support for daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

Training and Continuing Education

We offer various training programs and continuing education opportunities for our staff to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care. Our training programs include:

  • CBRF Registry Courses, including First Aid and Choking, Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, and Medication Administration
  • Online courses and certification programs for caregivers and support staff
  • On-site training programs for caregivers and staff
  • Ongoing staff development and continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in care and support
