Cataract Surgery: A Lasting Decision
This choice will last a lifetime. You will be using your new eyesight every waking moment for the rest of your life. Please take as much time as needed to consult with us as well as your family. Our surgeons, technicians, and coordinators are available to help you make the best decision. Things to think about before cataract surgery include: Do I want to see near, far, or intermediate distances after cataract surgery? What type of lens implant would be best for me after cataract surgery, a monofocal, astigmatism correcting, or full focus multifocal lens implant?
Dry Eye Treatment: Finding Relief
Do your dry eyes bother you? You have come to the right place if: Your eyes feel tired, irritated, burn, are red, or if your eyes just bother you. Your eyes bother you, but you haven't seen an eye doctor, or you have seen an eye doctor, but your eyes still aren't feeling better. You spend a great deal of time reading a hand-held device, computer, documents, books, watching TV, or driving. You would simply like to see and feel better. At Office Park Eye Center, our goal is to diagnose and treat your dry eye early in an effort to help you feel better, see better, and to keep your eyes from progressively getting worse. We want to keep your eyes healthy for the rest of your life!
Eyelid Surgery: Restoring Vision and Aesthetics
Are your eyelids causing visual impairment? Are you tired of droopy eyelids? Puffy eyes happen to almost everyone at some point, but when they become a chronic problem, puffy eyes and drooping eyelids can become more than a temporary annoyance. There are many reasons a person can have under-eye bags, drooping eyelids, and other aesthetic problems of the eye area.
Glaucoma Treatment: Preserving Your Vision
Did you know that lasers could be used instead of drops for Glaucoma? Glaucoma can be treated with eye drops, pills, laser surgery, traditional surgery, or a combination of these methods. The goal of any treatment is to prevent loss of vision, as vision loss from glaucoma is irreversible. The good news is that glaucoma can be managed if detected early, and that with medical and/or surgical treatment, most people with glaucoma will not lose their sight.
