Our History

All Around Trail Horses has been a family-owned and operated business since 1978, dedicated to raising quality horses and sharing the joy of horseback riding. Founded in Mancos, Colorado, our family's passion for horses and commitment to providing exceptional experiences has been a driving force behind our success. Over the decades, we've built a reputation for reliability, knowledgeable wranglers (many of whom are family), and a genuine dedication to our customers.

Today, we continue to honor the legacy established by our founder. Tim, the founder's son, and his wife Nuja, have expanded the All Around Trail Horses brand, operating two vibrant locations in Tucson, Arizona. Saguaro Stables, our flagship location, offers stunning desert landscapes, while Catalina Horseback Rides, a sister location at the Westward Look Resort and Spa, provides a luxurious equestrian experience amidst the beauty of the Catalina Mountains.

Our trail rides, ranging in duration from 90 minutes to four hours, offer a chance to immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of the Arizona landscape. We offer various trail options, catering to different levels of comfort and experience.

For the youngest adventurers, our pony rides provide a gentle and engaging introduction to the world of horses. Supervised by experienced pony wranglers, these rides are designed to be safe and enjoyable for children of all ages.

If you're looking to take your riding skills to the next level, our riding lessons cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced riders. Our experienced instructors utilize a patient and encouraging approach, helping you build a solid foundation in horsemanship.

Our summer horse camps provide a week-long immersion in all things equestrian.

Designed for children ages six and up, these camps combine learning, fun, and hands-on experiences. Kids will develop their riding skills, learn about horse care, and build lasting friendships.

We also offer horse boarding and leasing options for those seeking a more permanent commitment to their equine passions. At either location, your horse will receive the highest level of care and attention in our spacious and well-maintained facilities.
