Our Massage School Objectives

Our primary objective is to instruct, assist, and encourage students in the art of massage therapy. We aim to present, explain, and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of the human body, and acknowledge the effects and benefits of massage therapy through practical working knowledge and an understanding of the State curriculum. We also prioritize self-care, including proper movement during a massage session, for safety and injury prevention, as well as facilitating a long and prosperous career. Lastly, we equip our students with the skills necessary for planning, beginning, and successfully operating a business in massage therapy.

Flexible Schedules and Centrally Located Houston Campus

We offer flexible schedules of day or night classes, allowing students to choose the schedule that best fits their needs. Our Houston campus is conveniently located just off 45 South at Bay Area Blvd, only 6 miles from Beltway 8 South at 45. Our facilities include two large practical rooms uniquely designed for massage technique training, two lecture rooms specifically designed for learning academic material, five professional treatment rooms, two administrative offices, and a comfortable reception area. We believe that our students should be comfortable while learning, which is why we have separate practical rooms and lecture rooms that are equipped with high-quality massage tables, changing curtains, classroom tables, chairs, visual aids, models of the human body, wall charts, audio/visual equipment, and more.

Affordable Tuition and Interest-Free Payment Programs

We are committed to making massage therapy education accessible and affordable for all students. We offer interest-free payment programs to help students manage the cost of their education. Our tuition includes all necessary books and materials, and we offer a variety of financial aid options to help students cover the cost of their education.

Accreditation and Approval

The Texas School of Massage has been licensed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) since May 2003. We strictly adhere to the Administrative Rules of the TDLR 16 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 117.

Technique and Equipment Training

At the Texas School of Massage, we believe that it is important to not only learn technique but also to study how to correctly utilize various types of massage therapy equipment. We train our students on the "Prego" pillow, body cushion systems, massage chairs, and many other pieces of massage therapy equipment. We also provide musical accompaniment to allow students the experience of a professional session.
