Pursuing Your Highest Purpose

At American Martial Arts Center (AMAC), we are committed to building strength, confidence, and successful futures. With a combined 70 years of teaching experience, our instructors are dedicated to helping students develop a strong foundation in martial arts. We offer a pure version of Taekwondo that not only improves physical fitness and self-defense skills but also fosters a sense of responsibility, good judgment, strong character, and life skills.

Meet the Team

Our team of experienced instructors is led by Master Yunhoo Song, Master Sherrie School Director, Master Han, Master Ben Saxe, and Master Desmond Thomas. Our instructors have spent decades perfecting their craft and are dedicated to helping students achieve their martial arts goals.

Take Your Practice to the Next Level

For students who wish to take their Taekwondo practice to the next level, we offer the AMAC tricking team. This program combines Taekwondo with elements of gymnastics and breakdancing to create a unique and exciting display of strength, creativity, and style. To join the AMAC tricking team, students must have reached their purple belt level or higher, be at least eight years old, and demonstrate a dedication to their practice.

Find Your Class

Our classes are designed to cater to students of all ages and belt levels. We offer a range of classes for youth and adults, including before- and after-school programs, school break camps, birthday parties, and tricking. Use the schedule below to find a class that suits your needs.

Before & After School Program

Our After School Martial Arts Program (AMP) provides an exciting and safe alternative to daycare for children between the ages of 5 to 12 years old. Integrating traditional martial arts training with a quality after-school program, students will improve in self-discipline, self-defense, physical fitness, confidence, and leadership skills.

Join Our Camps

Our school break camps are specially designed to offer a safe, exciting, educational, and active experience for children 5 to 13 years old while school is out of session for each year's Spring, Summer, and Winter breaks. Campers participate in a variety of activities, including martial arts instruction, swimming, bowling, hiking, movies, games, sports, and arts & crafts.
