Ada Dance Academy

Ada Dance Academy has been inspiring young artists through the study of dance for over 25 years. Founded by Marlene Kenneway, a former dancer of the Boston Ballet, the academy has continued to thrive under the leadership of Margie Vizurraga and Stephen Sanford. With a strong classical foundation, Ada Dance Academy offers ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, tap, and hip hop classes for students of all ages. Our experienced teachers have a rich performance history of over 10 years and are dedicated to nurturing the talent and potential of each student.

Our Facility and Services

Our studio is equipped with a professional dance floor and provides a safe and comfortable environment for our dancers. We offer a variety of classes that cater to different ages and skill levels, ranging from introductory classes for toddlers to advanced classes for experienced dancers. Our team of professional teachers is committed to providing quality instruction and promoting a love for dance. We also offer private lessons for students who wish to receive personalized coaching.

Accomplishments

Our students have gone on to dance with prestigious companies such as Pacific Northwest Ballet, Joffrey Ballet Chicago, Ballet West, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Grand Rapids Ballet, Ballet Chicago, The Washington Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Kirov Academy in Washington D.C., Ballet Tucson, and have even performed on Broadway. Our dancers have also competed in competitions such as YAGP, UBC, and local dance competitions, receiving top scores, first place trophies, platinum ratings, and other awards, including the Standout Award. Ada Dance Academy has also been given the Studio of Excellence Award.

Key Dates for Ada Dance Academy Dancers

Our key dates for the academic year include the fall and spring semesters, breaks for holidays and special events, and dress rehearsals and competitions. We participate in events such as UBC and YAGP, where our dancers have the opportunity to showcase their talent and skills. We also have our annual recital, which provides a platform for our dancers to perform and showcase their progress.

Class Information & Policies

Our dress code ensures that our dancers are dressed appropriately and safely for each class. Our class levels and types cater to different ages and skill levels, allowing each student to progress at their own pace. We have policies in place to ensure that our classes run smoothly and that our dancers receive the best possible instruction. We also have a customer service team that is available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
