Our History

Our company was founded in 1934 as James Thompson & Sons and has since grown into a respected and trusted builder in Iowa. We have worked on a wide variety of markets, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, senior living, churches, schools, higher ed facilities, research labs, government buildings, treatment plants, and food processing facilities. We take pride in our entrepreneurial operating system (EOS) that has been in place since 2012, which guides us towards our core focus of building because people matter and leading projects better than anyone else.
