Our Experience

Recently, we have focused a significant amount of our work in the Linville Ridge Country Club, where we have built several homes valued over $3,000,000. These projects have allowed us to showcase our ability to build high-quality homes that meet the needs of discerning clients.

Our Team

Our team is led by Travis Horney, who joined his father, Gary Horney, in 1992 to establish Quality Builders, Inc. Gary had run his own construction company, Gary Horney Construction, since March 1973, and he brought his years of experience and knowledge to Quality Builders. Travis and Gary worked together until August 2006, when Gary retired from the family business.

Travis has been around the construction business his entire life and has also worked with a local building supply business. He possesses strong character traits of honesty, integrity, and hard work ethics, which were instilled in him by his family. He is deeply rooted in the Banner Elk area and is committed to providing his clients with the best possible quality homes.

Travis is actively involved in every project, ensuring that each home meets his high standards of quality. He believes that being on the job site every day is crucial for maintaining the quality of work and providing clients with the best possible service.
