At The Sounds of Joy Performing Arts Program, we believe that every child has a unique voice and creative spirit waiting to be unleashed. Our mission is to educate and enhance the creative talents of children by providing them with the techniques needed to become great performers. We aim to create a nurturing environment that fosters self-expression, builds confidence, and encourages students to explore their artistic side.
Our Services
Our programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the world of performing arts. We offer instruction in three main areas: Drama, Dance, and Music. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping students develop their skills and talents in a supportive and encouraging environment.
In our Drama program, students will learn basic acting techniques, including improvisation, stage presence, and character development. Our Dance program combines Ballet, Hip-Hop, and Modern Jazz to provide a solid foundation in dance techniques, while our Music program focuses on voice theory and vocal training.
Program Overview
Our summer program is an intensive session that provides students with a comprehensive overview of performing arts. Each summer session is followed by cohort sessions, where students engage in character building, community volunteering, and continued performing arts instruction. We are committed to cultivating the creative talents of our students and empowering them to become leaders and innovators for a sustainable future.
