Our Services

Pontchartrain Health Care Centre offers a wide range of services to cater to the unique needs of our patients. Our 24-hour skilled nursing care services provide physician-prescribed medical interventions for complex medical conditions, ensuring better experiences and outcomes. Our dedicated "Independence Day" Rehabilitation Unit combines traditional rehabilitation services in a therapy space that also recreates familiar activities of daily living patients often encounter in their homes and communities. We also offer transitional/short-term care, family training and involvement, and a full range of skilled nursing services for long-term care stays.

Our Rehabilitation Model

Our rehabilitation model is designed to help patients recover from many of the most common surgeries, procedures, and illnesses. We provide clinically proven therapy programs, with access to therapy services up to 6 days per week, to get patients home faster. Our rehabilitation model focuses on providing personalized care and attention to each patient, ensuring that they receive the best possible outcomes.

Our History

Pontchartrain Health Care Centre has been serving St. Tammany and the Greater New Orleans area since 1972. We are centrally located in the heart of Mandeville, Louisiana, and our mission is to provide the highest quality of medical care and rehabilitative services, coupled with our concern, aim and focus on extending excellent customer service.
