Our History
Our founder, Mary Safar, has over 20 years of experience in the sign industry. Her father, "Big Joe, " started the family business in 1978, hand-painting signs and crafting neon letters. Mary grew up in the family business, and in 2002, she opened "The Sign Shop" in Manhattan Beach, focusing on smaller signs and banners. In 2008, she launched Fine Signs of LA, shifting her focus to larger commercial projects.
