The Massachusetts Staffing Association (MSA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association representing the staffing and recruiting firms in Massachusetts. Founded in 1966 as an affiliated chapter of the American Staffing Association, MSA is the go-to resource for industry information, legislative representation, and professional development.

MSA members offer a variety of services, including temporary and contract staffing, temporary and contract to hire staffing, permanent and direct hire placement, managed services, training, human resources consulting, and related recruitment functions. All members proudly adhere to a Code of Ethics, representing the best in staffing and recruiting firms.

MSA is committed to making its member staffing and recruiting firms more successful through proactive legislative advocacy, effective public relations, exclusive training and skills development, strategic industry partnerships, and collaborative networking. We take pride in building the careers of staffing professionals, fostering an environment for success, and cultivating the industry's positive reputation.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is comprised of industry leaders and experts, selected for their diverse business backgrounds, education, and perspective. Our Board members are dedicated professionals who share our mission to promote and protect the interests of the Massachusetts staffing industry, its clients, and its workers.

President

Daphne Phalon is the President and Founder of Ardent Staffing Solutions. With over three decades of experience in the staffing industry, Daphne has committed her career to staffing and is highly involved in compliance and legislative matters facing the industry. She works closely with the American Staffing Association (ASA) and Massachusetts Staffing Association and is a member of NEHRA and SHRM.

Vice President

Maura Mann is the Vice President of The Nagler Group and KNF&T Staffing Resources, overseeing the client service strategy and execution that has resulted in award-winning growth and achievement for both companies. Maura has held leadership roles with multiple local and international staffing and recruiting organizations and is a member of ProVisors, a national networking organization.
