Our Story

Long Life Roofing was founded in 1980 by Dick Preissel, who was determined to build a company that would be well respected by the community he was raised in. With little more than a pick-up truck, a yellow lab, and a dream, he started this venture. Over the years, our reputation for quality work at a fair price has grown rapidly.

We have been serving south-central Wisconsin, including Wisconsin Dells and the surrounding communities of Baraboo, Lake Delton, Portage, Reedsburg, and Mauston. Our team is experienced in all areas of roof installations, with a primary focus on the installation of Firestone rubber roof systems on commercial and industrial buildings. Our employees are trained by Firestone personnel in the proper installation procedures and continue their training with annual technical updates.

Our Services

At Long Life Roofing, we offer a variety of roofing services to cater to the diverse needs of our clients. We specialize in the installation of traditional shingle roofs, rubber roofs, and metal roofs.

Our traditional shingle roofing services include the installation of shingles made of various materials such as wood, slate, flagstone, fibre cement, metal, plastic, and composite material like asphalt shingles. These roofs are perfect for homes and commercial buildings with sloping roofs.

Our rubber roofing services involve the installation of single-ply synthetic membrane rubber roofing, which is ideal for use over low-sloping or flat roofs. This type of roofing is durable, pliable, and waterproof, making it a popular choice for many of our clients.

Lastly, our metal roofing services include the installation of panel systems as well as metal shingle systems. While traditionally installed as a panel system, we have seen an increase in the use of metal shingle systems across the industry.
