Bet The Farm Winery

At Bet the Farm Winery, we are passionate about crafting high-quality wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the Finger Lakes region. Our story began in 2006, when our owner and winemaker, Nancy Tisch, left her academic career to pursue her entrepreneurial spirit. With the support of mentors Lou Damiani and Phil Davis of Damiani Wine Cellars, Nancy honed her winemaking skills and developed her own unique style.

Our Journey

Our journey hasn't been without its challenges, but we've remained committed to our core values of quality, sustainability, and community engagement. In 2018, we took the next step in our growth by planting our own vineyard, the Jacob Thomas Vineyard, which is named after our co-owner and winemaker, Kit Kalfs' father. This vineyard has allowed us to control the quality of our grapes and produce some of the best wine in the region.

Our Philosophy

At Bet the Farm Winery, we believe in a team approach to winemaking. Our philosophy is to grow or source high-quality fruit and guide it through fermentation, aging, and bottling to create fine and balanced wines. We strive to produce wines that are both approachable and sophisticated, perfect for everyday enjoyment or special occasions.

We offer a range of services to enhance your wine-drinking experience:

• Wine Tasting: Experience our diverse portfolio of red, white, rose, and sparkling wines at our tasting room. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to guide you through our selection.
• Food Pairing: Complement your wine tasting experience with our selection of New York State cheeses, crackers, and cured meats. We also offer charcuterie boards and can cater to your special dietary needs.
• Wine Club: Join our wine club and receive complimentary tastings, discounts on wine purchases, and first access to new and limited-edition wines.
• Private Events: Our tasting room and vineyard are available for private events, such as weddings and corporate functions.
