Lubbock Christian School (LCS) is a private institution that provides high-quality education based on Christian values. Our mission is to assist parents in the Christian education of their children by providing a Christ-centered educational program which includes a strong academic curriculum, integrated biblical teaching, and opportunities for spiritual growth, so students may develop their God-given talents for the glory of God and for service to others.

Our core values are rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and include love, respect, integrity, responsibility, and service. We strive to instill these values in our students, faculty, and staff, creating a community built on faith, trust, and compassion.

Statement of Faith

Lubbock Christian School is operated by the Churches of Christ. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the world. We acknowledge the sovereignty of God in all things and seek to live in obedience to His will as revealed in Scripture.

Academics

Our curriculum is based on the Core Knowledge Sequence, which provides a comprehensive and coherent foundation of knowledge in the liberal arts and sciences. We also offer a strong Bible curriculum that integrates faith and learning.

Athletics

Our athletic program is an integral part of the LCS experience. We offer a wide range of sports for students of all ages and skill levels, including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, softball, swimming, track and field, and volleyball. Our coaches are committed to teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline, and we strive to honor God through our athletic endeavors.

Fine Arts

Our fine arts program provides students with opportunities to explore their creativity and develop their talents in art, band, cheerleading, and drama. We offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including the National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, One Act Play, and Yearbook.

Get Involved
