Unsatisfactory Experience
Several patients have expressed disappointment with their experience at Cary Psychiatry. Emily Giangrande gave a 1-star rating due to Dr. Mikel's chronic tardiness and lack of professionalism. Dr. Mikel was late to multiple appointments, including one where she failed to show up, and caused inconvenience and frustration for Emily. Kaitlyn Matthews also experienced issues with insurance and billing, feeling that the office staff was unhelpful and charged her for a 2-minute appointment.
Ineffective Treatment
Jamie Shultz reported that Dr. Mikel changed his son's medication dosage, but the boy's behavior problems persisted. When Jamie reached out to the office for help, he was left waiting for over 10 days without a response. Jacob K. felt that the practice was only interested in prescribing medication and did not provide effective therapy, resulting in a disappointing experience.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, Diana Skinner had a positive experience with Cary Psychiatry, praising the office staff for being patient and helpful. Andrea Johnson has been a patient for 15 years and has consistently praised Dr. Katie Myers for her professionalism, compassion, and effectiveness as a therapist.
Billing Issues
Tarra Fuller experienced issues with billing, including being charged $320 without her consent. She was denied claims and was told that the office's policy was to charge her card, despite her insistence that it was not her intention to allow this.
