We are proud to offer a spacious and inviting office, complete with two waiting areas where you can enjoy complimentary beverages while sitting by the fire during the colder months. Our rear waiting area is also available if you prefer more privacy while waiting for your appointment. Our top priority is to help our clients feel comfortable and at ease, as we recognize that going to therapy can be a source of anxiety for some.
Angie Arnold, MS, LPC-MH
Angie is a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor who works with teens and adults aged 18 years and older. She began her career in 2010, working in private practice settings as well as providing outreach in several long-term care settings. Angie specializes in depression, grief and loss, anxiety disorders, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). In 2016, she attended the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) in Oconomowoc, WI, where she received intensive training in the evaluation and treatment of OCD utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Angie is also a South Dakota State Supervisor for pre-graduate students and post-graduate students working towards licensure. She works with clients who have experienced long-standing patterns of interpersonal problems, those who often find themselves stuck in place of dissatisfaction in their lives and are unsure of why or what to do. She approaches treating clients with an eclectic style, utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques, exposure therapy treatment strategies, and mindfulness therapy techniques based on their specific needs and goals.
Angie was born and raised in Watertown, where she currently resides with her husband and three children. She enjoys watching baseball and dance competitions, fishing and kayaking in the summer months, and traveling during the cold winter months. Angie is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF).
Heather Seurer, MS, LPC-Supervisee
Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisee who graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master's in Clinical Health with an Emphasis in Trauma. She is currently working towards her Licensure for LPC and has completed training for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Heather is passionate about expanding her knowledge and skills in the field of trauma therapy. She is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for clients to heal and grow. Heather is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
