Pediatric Associates, P.C. is a well-established pediatric practice that has been serving the Richmond metro area for over 40 years. Our team of experienced pediatricians, pediatric nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are dedicated to providing comprehensive care to children from birth to college. Our Story

Pediatric Associates was founded in 1968 by Dr. Jack Andrews. Dr. Andrews was recruited by the newly constructed Chippenham hospital to start up a pediatric practice across Hioaks Road from Chippenham Hospital. Pediatric Associates is the oldest pediatric practice on the Southside of Virginia. We still practice out of the original location on Hioaks Road in an old farmhouse built in 1924. With steady growth, we were able to expand our practice and open our Waterford location in 2010.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our young patients. These include prenatal appointments, well checks, school physicals, vision screenings, hearing screenings, vaccinations, behavioral health, and sick visits. We also provide nutritional and educational services, as well as same-day sick appointments for your convenience. Our onsite lab allows us to perform various tests quickly and efficiently, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment.

Our Locations

We have two convenient locations to serve you: Hioaks and Waterford. Our Hioaks location is at 1001 Hioaks Road, Richmond, VA 23225, and our Waterford location is at 13470 Tredegar Lake Parkway, Midlothian, VA 23112. Both offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by our friendly and compassionate team members.

Appointments and Hours

We are open every weekday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and have sick appointments available daily. On Saturdays, our Waterford office is open starting at 8am for sick visits (by appointment only). We encourage you to call us to schedule an appointment or ask any questions you may have.
