Our Story

Copeland's Pet Motel & Grooming, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business that has been providing top-notch pet services to the Mobile, Alabama community since 1945. Founded by Dorothy and Rufus Copeland, the business is now run by the mother-daughter duo, Kathy Copeland and Dorrie Copeland Waters, along with their dedicated staff. With over 75 years of experience, we have established ourselves as one of the oldest and finest boarding businesses in the Southern United States.

Our Services

At Copeland's Pet Motel & Grooming, Inc., we offer a wide range of services designed to cater to the unique needs of your pets. Our luxury boarding options include Indoor/Outdoor kennel areas, Luxury Suites, and Ultimate Suites, each providing a comfortable and safe environment for your pets to relax and play. Our professional pet salon provides dog grooming with relaxing bath treatments and nail grinds, as well as massage therapy for canines. We also offer a Day Camp service, where you can leave your pet with us for the day, and a Cattery, specifically designed for our feline friends.

Our Facilities

Our facility covers roughly 3.5 well-groomed acres, providing ample space for your pets to run and play. Our Luxury Suites feature day beds, decorative wallpaper, bed linens, and flat-screen TVs to entertain your pets when they aren't napping or running around in the play yard. Our facilities are climate-controlled, with air conditioning and heating to ensure your pets' comfort in any weather condition. We also have an Astro-Turf play yard, where your pets can exercise and socialize with our staff.
