Progressive Beginnings

Progressive Beginnings, LLC is a therapy center located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We have been providing occupational, physical, speech, and aquatic therapy services to both children and adults since 1999. Our mission is to help our clients overcome their physical and developmental challenges, so they can lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Our Practice

At Progressive Beginnings, we believe that every individual has the potential to make progress and achieve their goals. Our approach to therapy is client-centered, which means that we tailor our services to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. We work closely with our clients, their families, and their physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans that are designed to produce real and lasting results.

Our Team

Our team of highly trained and experienced therapists includes Nichole Elmendorf, OTR, the founder and owner of Progressive Beginnings. Nichole is a licensed occupational therapist with a passion for helping others learn and grow. She is joined by Jessica Oakland, PT, DPT, an operational partner and physical therapist with a passion for working with pediatric patients and a large interest in the neuroscience of pain. Katie Cicchese, PT, DPT, is another valued member of our physical therapy team who brings her enthusiasm and expertise to every session.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of therapy services for children and adults with a variety of physical and developmental challenges. Our services include:

• Occupational Therapy: We provide occupational therapy services for children and adults with conditions such as ADHD, cerebral palsy, sensory disorders, Down's syndrome, torticollis, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorders, fine motor delay, language delays, plagiocephaly/flat head syndrome, and mental health disorders. Our occupational therapists work with clients to improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and independence.
• Physical Therapy: We offer physical therapy services for children and adults with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, obesity, orthopedic injuries, generalized weakness, balance disorders, sports-related injuries, post-stroke history, and a history of falls. Our physical therapists help clients improve their strength, mobility, balance, and overall physical function.
• Speech Therapy: We provide speech therapy services for children and adults with a variety of speech and language disorders. Our speech therapists work with clients to improve their articulation, language comprehension, and expression, and swallowing function.
• Aquatic Therapy: We offer aquatic therapy services for children and adults. Our warm water pool provides a comfortable and supportive environment for clients to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical function.
