Angie

Angie is a graduate of Kirkwood College and has over 20 years of experience in the optical field. She has worked in various capacities, including lab technician, preliminary testing, patient coordination, frame styling, contact lens fitting, and insurance processing. Angie's lively sense of humor and approachable personality make her a favorite among our patients. When she's not juggling multiple tasks at Cedar Rapids Eye Care, Angie enjoys spending time on her acreage with her husband, two children, and a wide variety of animals.

Erin

Erin is ABO certified and has extensive experience in the optical field. She has assisted in various areas of optometry, including specialty testing, preliminary testing, eyewear selection, contact lens instruction, appointment scheduling, and order processing. Erin is passionate about helping people with their vision needs and finds her work rewarding and enjoyable. In her spare time, Erin enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her family.

Meghann

Meghann joined Cedar Rapids Eye Care with several years of insurance and billing experience. She serves as our Insurance Manager and Staff Manager, ensuring that our team runs smoothly and efficiently. Meghann enjoys trading jokes with her coworkers and keeping everyone entertained with her song parodies about the office. In her free time, she enjoys karaoke, dancing, live music, hiking with her two dogs, and spending quality time with her kids.

Tina

Tina is ABO certified and brings over 25 years of optical experience to Cedar Rapids Eye Care. She manages our lab and enjoys all aspects of her position, but her true passion lies in caring for her patients. Tina starts each morning at the gym and maintains her high energy throughout the day, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. When she's not at the office, Tina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, and going for bike rides.

Brenda

Brenda began her career in optometry working part-time as a high school senior. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Biology, she returned to Cedar Rapids Eye Care and became the first vision therapist working under the direction of Dr. Kara Heying. Brenda has over 20 years of experience as a vision therapist and can also be found working at the front desk, handling phone triage, patient coordination, and greeting everyone with her bright smile and bubbly personality. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Office Tour

Our office is designed with our patients' comfort and convenience in mind. We have state-of-the-art equipment and a knowledgeable staff to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Our office is clean, comfortable, and inviting, and we welcome patients of all ages.

Office Hours

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed on weekends and major holidays.
