Our Leadership Team

Our leadership team is comprised of experienced and dedicated professionals who share our commitment to excellence. Our Chairman and CEO, A.J. Kazimi, founded our company in 1999 and has led our company to become a leading provider of prescription medicines. Our Executive Vice President, National Accounts & Chief Compliance Officer, James L. Herman, has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Our Senior Director, International Business, Cheow Choon, has over 15 years of experience in international business development.

Our Company History

Cumberland Pharmaceuticals was founded in 1999 by A.J. Kazimi, our Chairman and CEO. Since our inception, we have grown to become a leading provider of prescription medicines in underserved niche markets. Our company has developed and launched multiple products that have made a meaningful impact on patient care.

Our Products

Our products are designed to address specific needs in hospital acute care and gastroenterology. Our products have been developed with the needs of patients and healthcare professionals in mind. Our products include Vibativ, an FDA-approved treatment for certain serious bacterial infections, and Caldolor, the first injectable approved in the U.S. to manage pain in adults and pediatric patients.
