Wyoming Karate Club

Thank you for visiting the Wyoming Karate Club (WKC) website. We are proud to be the premier martial arts school in the Jackson Hole area, offering classes for kids aged 4 and up, teens, and adults. With over 30 years of serving the community, we have taught over 2000 students, making us a trusted and experienced dojo.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide practical and effective self-defense skills to our students while promoting character development and child safety. We strive to increase our students' physical and mental skills, making them more confident, safer, and less likely to become targets of bullying or other predators.

Shorin-ryu Karatedo and Kobudo Association of America

The WKC is a chartered school of the Shorin-ryu Karatedo and Kobudo Association of America, which is a federal 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization. As a member of this association, we uphold the highest standards of martial arts education and promote the values of respect, discipline, and hard work.

Kids Programs

Our Kids Programs offer children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, confidence, and discipline. Our classes are designed to improve motor skills and the ability to pay attention and follow directions. We teach karate in a safe, fun, and exciting way that makes it more than just learning self-defense. We use it as a tool to influence kids to become the best individuals they can be.

We offer a Trial Program for $39, which allows students to attend two classes to see how they like it. After completion of the Trial Program, membership is $169 a month. Our programs are ongoing and year-round, with no sessions. Students may join anytime space is available. After the completion of the Trial Program, students need to purchase a uniform ($50) & belt ($20). We also offer partial scholarships for qualifying students aged 8-18 through the Boundless Scholarship Program.

Adult Program

Our Adult Program is designed to challenge and empower adults of all skill levels. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment where students can learn self-defense skills, improve their fitness, and build confidence. Our classes are taught by experienced instructors who are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for children and adults of all ages. Lessons may be private, semi-private, or for a small or large group. Private lessons offer a unique opportunity for students to receive one-on-one instruction and feedback from our experienced instructors.

Dojo Hours and Location

Our dojo is located at 290 N Millward in Jackson, WY (on the corner of Mercill). Our entrance is on the East side of the building in the alley where there is a small parking lot. The Start Bus stop is located at Miller Park 2 blocks away.

Our dojo hours are as follows:

Tuesdays: 4:15-7:30 Thursdays: 4:15-7:30
