In His Steps Dance Studio

In His Steps Dance Studio is a Christian dance school that combines technical excellence with spiritual growth. Our mission is to train both the body and the heart, providing our students with a safe, fun, and professional dance environment that is free from sensual influences. We believe that dance can be a way to glorify God, and we are committed to teaching our students in a moral atmosphere where they can master the skills of dance for the purpose of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Services

We offer a variety of classes for ages 18 months through adult, with no experience necessary. Our classes include ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and worship dance. Each class begins with prayer and ends with a devotional, and we carefully screen all music for any offensive language, ideas, or undertones. We are a non-competitive dance studio that focuses on God and the use of dance to glorify Him.

Spring Recital

Our spring recital is an opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and share the message of Jesus Christ through dance. This year's recital will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 2pm at Woodland Church. Tickets can be purchased online, and we invite family, friends, and members of the community to join us as we journey to new levels in our faith and our dance.

Summer Dance Camps

Our summer dance camps are a great way for new dancers to check out dance class for the first time or try out a new style of dance. We offer two camps this summer, June 24-28 and July 15-19th. Our camps are packed full of fun classes for everyone, and we offer a small presentation at the end of every class on Friday. Our camps fill up fast, so be sure to register right away to hold your spot.

Dance Store

Our dance store is located inside In His Steps Dance Studio and sells a variety of dance shoes, clothing, and accessories. Our dancers love to shop in between classes, and we offer gift certificates for special occasions. We sell dance shoes that are required for our classes and can size them for you. If we do not have something in stock, we can order it for you. Our store is convenient and we are happy to do the work for you. We are open during business hours Monday - Thursday 4pm-8:30pm.

We are a welcoming and inclusive dance studio that values each and every one of our students. We are currently hiring instructors for our 2024/2025 dance season, and we invite applicants with previous teaching experience for all ages and styles to apply. We offer a 9 1/2-month commitment, and we are committed to providing our instructors with a supportive and positive work environment.
