In 1977, Gary O'Reilly founded O'Reilly's Furniture & Amish Gallery with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide the highest-quality furniture and exceptional service to every customer who walked through our doors. Gary was not just a businessman; he was a member of the community who genuinely cared about the people he served. His friendly demeanor, ability to make everyone feel like family, and his dedication to finding the perfect piece of furniture for each customer's unique needs made him a beloved fixture in the Libertyville area.

Over the years, Gary built a loyal customer base, many of whom continue to return to O'Reilly's Furniture & Amish Gallery to this day. His commitment to the community and the quality of his products made his job enjoyable, but it also made it difficult when he decided it was time to retire. Gary searched for a way to ensure that the store would continue to thrive and maintain the family-oriented culture he had worked so hard to build.

In the summer of 2018, Gary found the perfect solution when he turned to good family friends, the Walsh's, and offered them the opportunity to carry on his legacy by running the store. The Walsh's took over with the intention of fulfilling all of the promises Gary made to his customers and continuing to provide the highest-quality furniture and exceptional service that O'Reilly's Furniture & Amish Gallery is known for.
