At Affordable Family Eyewear, we have been serving Eastern Oregon and Southeastern Washington since 2007. Our Story

Our journey began when Marcia and Allen Lambert decided to open a business that would cater to the eyewear needs of the local community. They successfully ran the business for many years, serving over 13,000 patients. In 2021, they decided to transition into retirement and handed over the reins to Nicholas Page, a long-time friend and fellow optician. Nick, along with his wife Barbara and friend Steve Cox, decided to form a partnership to enhance the patient experience and continue the legacy of Affordable Family Eyewear.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing the best possible experience for our patients.

Nicholas Page, LDO, is our CEO and is responsible for daily business operations and overall patient experience. He is a Washington State Licensed Dispensing Optician with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Nick is certified with the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners (ABO-NCLE). Prior to purchasing Affordable Family Eyewear, he trained and mentored opticians and opened/managed optical practices in Spokane.

Steve Cox is our VP of Business Operations, supporting several areas, including CFO, HR, AP, Procurement, Engineering, and Marketing. Steve is a Senior IT Professional with many certifications and has worked in heavy aluminum manufacturing for over 25 years, focusing on engineering automation solutions to meet business requirements. He also has experience in founding and operating several small businesses and non-profits successfully.
