Your Trusted Martial Arts Training Center in Wake Forest, NC
Founded in 1964, our martial arts school carries a rich heritage rooted in traditional Kung Fu and self-defense techniques. Under the leadership of Grandmaster Don Baird, a 2009 Masters Hall of Fame inductee with nearly 50 years of teaching experience, we offer comprehensive training in Suh Do Kwan, a lineage tracing back to Chinese Chuan Fa through Korean Kang Duk Won. Our curriculum blends physical conditioning, discipline, and practical self-defense, catering to students aged 4 to 102. Grandmaster Baird, former technical advisor to the Burbank Police Department, has developed a system combining 37 traditional forms, 72 animal techniques, and advanced grappling methods. We maintain the original teachings of our founder Grandmaster Suh, Young-ik, while adapting to modern health standards.

Our family-oriented environment fosters personal growth through martial arts philosophy, chi kung breathing, and character development. With sister schools across California and North Carolina, we continue to preserve authentic techniques while making martial arts accessible to all. Our instructors emphasize individualized attention, ensuring students master both physical skills and mental fortitude. The school's historical significance includes pioneering Christian martial arts programs and contributing to police self-defense training. Today, we remain committed to advancing traditional martial arts while maintaining affordability and community engagement.
