Meet Melissa Hedrick

Melissa Hedrick is the founder and managing partner of the Hedrick Law Firm. Ms. Hedrick is a native of Arlington, Texas, and moved to Oklahoma City with her family in 1989. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in History from the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with special distinction.

Ms. Hedrick then attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was awarded the prestigious Hatton W. Sumners Scholarship. This scholarship provided full tuition as well as a living and book stipend. Ms. Hedrick graduated first in her class and Summa Cum Laude from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, receiving numerous honors and awards along the way.

Since graduating law school, Ms. Hedrick has represented clients all over the State of Oklahoma. She has argued before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado, and has represented clients in matters both large and small. Ms. Hedrick is dedicated to treating each client with the utmost respect and recognizing the impact injury can have on a person's life.

Admissions and Memberships

Ms. Hedrick is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all 77 Counties in Oklahoma. She is also admitted to practice before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the U.S. District Courts for both the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma.

In addition to her membership in the Oklahoma Bar Association, Ms. Hedrick is a member of the American Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives.

Personal Life

Ms. Hedrick is married to her husband of 15 years and has one child, a daughter named Emma. In her free time, she enjoys hiking in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Red River, New Mexico, as well as running, growing a fresh herb garden, reading, and spending time with her family.
