Our History and Mission
Happy Days School was established in 1977 by Lynda Francis, with a mission to support families in preparing their children to be effective and productive citizens through professionally based academics, training, and instruction. Over the years, we have had the privilege of serving many families in Garland, TX, and we continue to be dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children.

Our experienced and trained staff are committed to providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment that fosters social, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth in each child.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support the development of children from 6 weeks to 24 months. Our programs include:
- Lollipops (6 weeks to 12 months): We bond with your baby through cuddling, feeding, reading, and playing, promoting language, cognitive function, motor skills, and sensory development.
- Rainbows (12 to 18 months): We encourage exploration and growth through motor skill development, language development, music and movement, and artistic development.
- Sunbeams (18 to 24 months): We support independence and exploration through outdoor games, language development, sensory development, imaginative development, and social development.
Our Curriculum
We are proud to be Texas Rising Star certified, Texas School Ready, and use the ABEKA curriculum. Our Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 classes are in the Texas School Ready Program, ensuring that students are ready to enter kindergarten at or above the state standards.
Our Nutrition
Happy Days School is part of the Federal Food Service program, providing fresh breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks each day. We also support breastfeeding mothers with our on-site freezers and fridges. Our infant care program ensures every child receives formula and baby food as approved and requested by the parent.
Our Staff
Our staff are committed to providing exceptional care and education to our children. Each teacher has a minimum of 30 hours of professional development each year and is required to complete CPR and First Aid training. We also conduct criminal background checks on all staff before they begin working with children.
Discounts and Payments
We offer discounts for children whose parents are City of Garland & GISD employees. We accept child care payments from the Dallas County Community Colleges child care program and offer flexible payment options to accommodate your needs.
