The Man Behind the Woodworking

Michael Wilson's love for woodworking began at a young age and has since blossomed into a lifelong passion. After working as an assistant instructor under renowned furniture maker Walker Weed, Michael went on to earn a degree in Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire. Today, he continues to hone his craft, building custom furniture and cabinetry from his home studio on the banks of the beautiful Connecticut River.

The Dream Shop

After many years of working in drafty old factories, Michael finally built his dream shop in the hay field behind his home. The shop is heavily insulated, built with zero VOC materials, and designed for maximum solar gain with plenty of windows to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Connecticut River Valley. The shop is a testament to Michael's dedication to his craft, built with the same care and attention to detail that he brings to every piece of furniture and cabinetry he creates.
