Who Is Pedro Duran?

Known as the premier builder of custom homes and remodels in the San Joaquin Valley, Duran Homes was officially launched in 2003. Pedro Duran has learned the business hands-on, starting as a superintendent for very prestigious companies and working his way up in the industry. During his career, he has had the benefit of working side by side with some of the leading architects and interior designers in the area.

Now, he is one of Northern California's sought-after builders of beautiful homes. Duran's years of expertise in all phases of construction lend his clients the benefit of a general contractor with the ability to work together with highly skilled subcontractors, architects, and designers to build and remodel homes of quality and beauty that will be enjoyed for generations to come. The hands-on involvement of founder Pedro Duran and company transfers more than 20 years of knowledge and building experience into every Duran custom home. We'll be there to guide you through every step of the process and beyond project completion. We are committed to supporting you during every stage of the home building process and our support remains available to you after you move in.

Owning and building a custom home or remodeling is a significant personal investment; we want to make it a positive experience throughout.

Design Process

2D Plans: We start drafting and implementing all the specific components and layouts based on your personal preferences. We take into consideration the environment of the location such as wind direction and where the sun sets.

3D Plans: Check the different perspectives and views of your house in 3D. Your house starts to become a reality as we walk with you through the design process. Have a video for your own reference of your house in 3D.

HoloLens: Experience a design review in mixed reality. Interact with your designed house as holographic scale models. Walk through the house and see details even before construction begins.

Construction Process

Pre Construction: Design evaluation & recommendations, analysis of estimated budget, subcontractor & vendor pre-qualification, review of logistics & coordination. We will work closely with your architect in designing structural plans, as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans to ensure there are no surprises encountered during the construction phase.

Construction: Full-time, on-site superintendent, subcontractor interfacing & coordinating, cost control & accounting, quality, scheduling & safety management. A weekly meeting day will be established so clients can meet with Pedro and subcontractors to review project progression. Pedro will personally visit each project site on a regular basis.

Post Construction: Upon completion of construction, we will schedule a detailed walk-through to make sure we address any maintenance items before you move in. It is important to us that you have a smooth transition in your new home or remodel. We will be there to make sure you enjoy your home for many years to come. We also pride ourselves in the continuous great relationships we have with our past clients.
