Located in the heart of West End Village in San Rafael, CA, Rebound Bookstore has been serving book lovers for years. We are proud to have been voted "Best Used Bookstore" in Marin County for the 13th time in 2022. After the Covid-19 crisis, we are now fully operational, taking book donations and offering a safe and welcoming environment for all.

- Book Donations: We accept book donations of all kinds. If you have a large collection, we can even come to your location to pick them up. Simply leave your books on the shelves, and we'll take care of the rest.
- Book Purchases: We offer a vast selection of books in excellent condition at incredible prices. Whether you're looking for the latest bestseller or a classic novel, we have something for everyone.
- Gift Wrapping: Need a gift for a book lover? We offer free gift wrapping for all purchases.
- Gift Certificates: Not sure what to get? Our gift certificates are the perfect solution. They can be used to purchase any item in the store.
- Customer Reward Cards: Sign up for our customer reward card program and earn points for every purchase. Redeem your points for discounts on future purchases.
- Holiday Season Hours: We are open extended hours during the holiday season to make shopping easier for you.
Special Collections
We are proud to offer a wide range of special collections, including:
- Memoir by Joel Eis: Our very own co-owner, Joel Eis, has written a memoir titled "Standin' in a Hard Rain, the Making of a Revolutionary Life." This fast-paced, "boots-on-the-ground" account of major events by a dedicated radical in the 1960's (and beyond) is a must-read for anyone interested in history.
- Rare Documents & Photos: We have 85 rare documents and photos available for purchase. These one-of-a-kind items are a treasure for any collector.
- Paperback & E-Book Copies: Our memoir is available for purchase on Amazon.com in paperback and e-book formats.
- Greeting Cards: We offer a new Dream Notes greeting card collection. Our cards are blank on the inside and perfect for any occasion.
