Fischbeck Welding, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business, founded by Roy Fischbeck in 1959. Initially, the company was established as a small welding repair shop called Fischbeck Tractor and Welding, focusing on repairing farm implements and tractors for local farmers. Over the years, the business has expanded and diversified, including the addition of small manufactured items and structural components.

In 1979, Roy's grandson, Keith Wersterfer, began working full-time at the company. Keith's vision was to develop the family business into a structural steel fabrication company. The company became incorporated in 1991, and the business was relocated to include more equipment and a larger area for fabrication.

Since its humble beginnings, Fischbeck Welding, Inc. has worked diligently to serve customers and gain recognition as a leader in the structural steel fabrication industry. The company has earned numerous awards, including two NuHeights Design Awards for the Phipps Office Building in 2015 and the AISD Performing Arts Center in 2016.
