The Mental Health Association of Cleveland County has been a beacon of hope for those affected by mental illness since 1962. Our mission is to promote mental health in our community through education, advocacy, and support. We are committed to eliminating the stigma of mental illness and ensuring that every citizen has access to quality mental health services without facing any barriers to treatment. Our vision is of a community where living with a severe mental illness does not lead to broken families, economic despair, and homelessness. We work tirelessly to provide help, healing, and hope to individuals and families affected by mental health issues.

Our Programs and Services

We offer a range of programs designed to support and uplift our community. Our Compeer program pairs volunteers with individuals who are lonely or isolated, providing them with companionship and social support. The Emergency Medication Request service helps those in need by providing access to essential medications. Healing with Nature offers a unique opportunity for people to connect with nature and find peace. We also offer internships to students interested in the field of mental health, and our Operation Santa Claus program brings joy to children during the holiday season. Additionally, we focus on Suicide Prevention, providing resources and support to those at risk and their families.

Getting Involved and Making a Difference

You can be part of our journey to create a more supportive and inclusive community. We have various ways for you to get involved, including volunteering, taking the pledge to end stigma, and joining our mailing list. Your support helps us continue our work in the community, providing essential services and programs. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter future for all.
