Welcome to Seedlings to Sunflowers, a high-quality non-profit school dedicated to early education and child development. Our unique approach focuses on a holistic development of each child, incorporating academics, physical and nutritional wellness, and play. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to belong, develop independence, cultivate generosity, and master skills, leading to a healthy sense of self and academic success.

Our team of experienced and dedicated staff includes Directors and Co-founders with backgrounds in Behavioral Health, Early Childhood Education, and Nutrition & Culinary Arts. Our teachers hold associates, bachelors, and masters degrees, with years of experience in childcare and education. We are proud to offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes experiential learning, social-emotional development, and preparation for kindergarten. Our focus on cultural curriculum and community building sets us apart, ensuring that every child feels supported and valued.

We are committed to providing a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and learning through hands-on projects and activities. Our Garden Program Coordinator and teachers engage students in gardening and nature-based activities year-round, teaching the importance of healthy eating and sustainable food practices. We serve healthy meals and snacks, sourced from local organic farms, emphasizing the value of nutrition and community support.

Our approach to social-emotional development is centered around Conscious Discipline and Zones of Regulation, ensuring that each child's emotional well-being is of utmost importance. We believe that a strong sense of community is vital, which is why we prioritize family and community-centered activities, events, and partnerships with local businesses.

At Seedlings to Sunflowers, we are a 501c3 Non-Profit Childcare Center, governed by a Board of Directors and a set of By-Laws. Every dollar earned is reinvested in staff, programming, and improving our facilities and outdoor areas. We are proud to be a part of the community and grateful for the support of our families.
