At LL & Sons Excavating, Inc., we've been providing top-notch aggregate, excavating, and underground services to the people of northeast South Dakota, including Watertown, Brookings, Hamlin County, and the surrounding areas, since 1996. Our journey began with Loren Beld, who started small with a skidsteer and a vision to make a difference in the industry. Over the years, we've grown significantly, adding mini-excavators and full-size excavators to our fleet. In 2008, we took the next step and incorporated the business, solidifying our commitment to excellence. Today, we're proud to have a team of 9 full-time and 2 part-time employees who share our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.

Our Services

For those building from the ground up, we provide site development, water and sewer hook-ups, and septic system installation. For existing properties, we're equipped to handle water main repairs, water and sewer line repairs, and septic system repairs. Our team is also experienced in basement and footing installation, ensuring your new construction project is built on a solid foundation. In addition, we provide hydro vac services, making it possible to excavate without causing damage to existing pipes or wires. For larger projects, we're prepared to assist with land clearing, site preparation, and dewatering. Our extensive inventory of sand, gravel, and other materials means we can provide whatever your project requires, from sandbox sand to large landscape boulders.
