A & H Implement

A & H Implement Company has been a trusted name in the Altamont community for over a century. Established in the early 1900s, the business was initially operated by Mrs. Louis Hoffmeister with the help of her son, Ronald. After her remarriage in 1972, another son, Jerry, joined the business as a partner, and together they continued to sell vehicles under the name of A & H Implement Company.

In 1977, the company built a new body shop, and Ronald's son, Michael, began working for the family business. Over the years, the original building underwent extensive improvements, and in 1996, the business incorporated with fifteen employees. In 2003, Ronald retired, and Jerry and Michael became the partner owners of A & H Implement. In 2008, the company constructed a new building that houses a state-of-the-art paint room. Today, A & H Implement continues to grow, offering a wide selection of cars, trucks, and SUVs for all price ranges.
