Our History

Founded by William H. House in 1954, Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping started as an excavating company in Fairfield, OH. Over the years, we expanded into underground utility work and later into the asphalt paving industry, with a specific emphasis on commercial paving and blacktopping. Today, we are proud to be the manufacturers of our own asphalt, with our own plant and quality control lab.
