Who We Are

Dance Studio 53 is a family-oriented dance studio with a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We take pride in making classes a positive experience for all our dancers and their families. Attention is given to developing self-confidence, and every dancer is encouraged to be the best dancer they can be.

Why Choose Us?

We offer a family-friendly, stress-free environment with patient, kind, and professional staff. Our variety of classes caters to all ages, and our organized and well-run programs ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Our recitals are upbeat and just over an hour long, making them enjoyable for both children and parents. With 25 successful years under our belt, we love to dance and inspire your children.

Our Faculty

Our director, Michelle Davis, began taking dance lessons at the age of three and has since become certified to teach through Kent State University. She understands the importance of teaching children firsthand and enjoys it more than ever. Our other instructors include Caitlin Carabba, who is passionate about dance and working with children, and has a degree in Dance and Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University. Christine DeGrasse, who has a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Dance Management and Instruction from Plymouth State University, and Heather Rizzo, who brings her experience as a gymnast and dancer to teach Acrobatics and Hip-Hop.

Classes Offered

We offer a range of classes suitable for all ages. Our Mini Movers program is designed for ages 2-3 and includes 30 minutes of creative movement, pre-ballet, and tumble. The Tiny Dancers program, for ages 3-5, consists of 40 minutes of ballet, creative movement, tap, and acro/tumble. These classes are perfect for children who love to dance and are looking to improve their coordination and self-confidence.
