Our History

Our company was founded by Elvin Gibson, who recognized the need for a company that could fix and maintain hydraulic systems. Together with his wife Barbara, Elvin established Gibson Hydraulics Inc. in 1974. Their son, Jonathan Gibson, currently manages the company and has been working with his father since 1975. We are a family-owned-and-operated business that has grown to include at least three generations of original employees. Our team is currently composed of 13 employees who exemplify a strong work ethic and adhere to high standards.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services to ensure that your hydraulic system is running smoothly and efficiently. Our skilled technicians perform regular inspections to eliminate problems before they occur. We provide full-service maintenance and repair, rebuilding of hydraulic cylinders up to 40' long, machining capability to 20' centers, lathes capable of turning 46" diameter and 35' length, and hones capable of honing 40' long and 30" diameter. We also verify, calibrate, and fully test the work performed to meet the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. All repairs are rigorously tested using the latest diagnostic technologies to ensure that our job is done right, every time.
