Kids Rule Child Care

Welcome to Kids Rule Child Care, a home-based child care and learning center located in the beautiful community of Captain Cook in South Kona, Hawaii. Our center is dedicated to providing high-quality child care services in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Our primary caregiver, teacher, and owner/operator, Marni Hunter, has a wealth of experience and credentials in early childhood education and is passionate about providing the best possible care for young children.

Our Philosophy

At Kids Rule Child Care, we believe that children learn best through play and exploration. We provide a variety of activities and experiences that are tailored to each child's individual needs and abilities. Our philosophy is based on the following concepts:

• Guidance: We provide a supportive environment in which children can begin to learn and grow with appropriate developmental practice. We believe in gentle and consistent discipline when children are acting in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.

Admission Policy

To ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, we have an admission policy that requires certain forms to be filled out and signed by parents before a child is admitted to school. These forms include a child's pre-admission health history, immunization records, parent signed consent form for emergency medical care, tuition policy agreement, waiver forms, and a medication form. We also require families to have a working phone number at all times and to provide a car seat for children under five.
