Disappointing Experiences with Counseling Services
The following two reviews share similar sentiments of disappointment and frustration with their experience at a counseling service. Reviews from Katherine Kip and Betty Zhao both express strong negative opinions and offer warnings to potential clients.
Katherine Kip shares her concerns about the therapist's behavior, stating that she made ethical complaints, which were ignored by the therapist and the director, Tom Barbian. She claims that the service nearly caused her to lose everything under their care and advises others to seek better counseling. She also criticizes the Christian aspect of the service, suggesting that it prioritizes the needs of husbands over those of women.
Betty Zhao's review is equally disheartening. She expresses disappointment with the counselor's behavior, stating that her husband had to leave the program due to a job relocation, and the counselor became offended, charging them $700 for the half-finished program. Betty believes that the counselor's primary concern was losing the payment rather than showing genuine Christian care for her husband's situation.
