Riverview Cabin Retreat

Hello and welcome to Riverview Cabin Retreat, a tranquil getaway nestled in the heart of Nebraska's breathtaking North Loup River Valley. We are Brian and Chris Petska, the proud owners of this unique retreat. Our mission is to provide our guests with a peaceful and relaxing experience, away from the hustle and bustle of their everyday lives. We invite you to come and unwind in our all-new, smoke-free, and tastefully decorated cabin, which sleeps six comfortably.

Our cabin is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the other has two sets of super-sized twin bunk beds. The bathroom boasts a two-seated shower, while the small gathering room has two leather sofas that recline for added comfort. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, so there's no need to bring any linens or dishes. All you need to bring is your food, and you can even enjoy cooking out on the new barbecue grill on those lovely evenings!

At Riverview Cabin Retreat, you can take in the scenic surroundings of the North Loup River Valley by taking a hike to watch the deer, pheasants, turkeys, and seasonal bald eagles, geese, ducks, and pelicans. There are two major fishing ponds near the cabin for your enjoyment, and you can clean your catch of the day at our newly installed cleaning stand. We are located in central Nebraska, just six miles northwest of Ord on Highway 11 and 1/2 east, 1/4 north. We are one hour from Grand Island, two hours from Lincoln, and three hours from Omaha.

Explore the Surrounding Area

While you stay with us, you can explore the many points of interest this area has to offer. You can visit Fort Hartsuff, The Country Neighbor, The Calamus Reservoir and Fish Hatchery, the Burwell Rodeo, and the Happy Jack Chalk Mines. You can also enjoy shopping in Ord and Burwell and visit many unique stores and beautiful parks. Our retreat is the perfect base from which to explore all that central Nebraska has to offer.

Amenities and Policies

Our cabin is a non-smoking facility with central air conditioning. We are sorry, but we do not allow pets. Firewood is provided for the firepit, and we have a cancellation policy that allows you to cancel your reservation up to two weeks prior to your arrival free of charge. After that, you will be charged half of what you would have paid for the full time you reserved your dates.
