Minnie Hamilton Health System is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 1983. Our mission is to improve the health quality of life of all people in our service area through an innovative delivery system of services and education. We are proud to have grown into a comprehensive, vertically integrated health care delivery system, offering a range of services including acute care, behavioral health services, cardiopulmonary clinic services, dental office services, emergency room services, laboratory services, long-term care, medical records, occupational and speech therapy, physical therapy, radiology services, school-based health services, and swing bed services.

Our staff of physicians, specialists, and mid-levels is dedicated to providing long-term good health for our patients. We are committed to being a partner in health today, tomorrow, and for life. Our services are designed to cater to the diverse needs of our community, including preventive health care, acute care, and long-term care. We also offer specialized services such as cardiac and pulmonary rehab, immunizations, and wound care.

Our history dates back to 1983, when Calhoun County designated a new health center to be named Minnie Hamilton Health Center in honor of Miss Minnie Hamilton, a beloved county nurse. Miss Hamilton dedicated her life to taking care of others, leaving a legacy of public service that continues to inspire us today.
