Wesleyan Preschool & Kindergarten

At Wesleyan Preschool and Kindergarten, we are deeply committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and welcoming environment for all children. Our unique programs are designed to incorporate a variety of educational theories, while always keeping the child's best interests in mind. We believe in the importance of hands-on, experiential learning, and we strive to create a sense of community and cooperation among our students.

Our Mission

Our mission is to encourage and nurture each child individually, facilitating all aspects of development: cognitive, emotional, and spiritual. We strive to instill in each child a love for learning and deep respect for all. With a long-standing commitment to excellence, we have been educating and nurturing children in the exact location for over 60 years. Many alumni have returned to these familiar hallways as their children enter Wesleyan classes and welcome new families every year.

Programs

Our educational programs at Wesleyan Preschool and Kindergarten were created with our children's needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. We offer a variety of programs to cater to different age groups and needs.

3/4's Preschool Program

This program is designed for children who must be age 3 on or before September 1st. The 2-day program runs from Tuesday to Thursday, from 9 am to 12:15 pm, and the 3-day program runs from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12:15 pm. The yearly tuition is $3915 for the 2-day program and $4905 for the 3-day program. We also offer a supply and snack fee and a registration fee.

4/5's Preschool Program

This program is designed for children who must be age 4 on or before September 1st. The 4-day program runs from Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 12:15 pm. The yearly tuition is $5760, and we also offer a supply and snack fee and a registration fee.

Transitional Kindergarten

This program is designed for children who are chronologically old enough to attend Kindergarten but would benefit from more time in a smaller and more specialized setting. The class operates from Monday to Friday from 9:00-12:15 PM, and the yearly tuition is $6210.

Optional Extended Brown Bag

This program is an optional extension of our preschool program, offering a supervised lunch and playtime program from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM. The fees are $110 per month for 2 days a week and $220 per month for 4 days a week.

Extended Day Class

This new option is for children already enrolled in the 4/5's or Transitional Kindergarten class. The program runs from Monday to Thursday from 12:15-2:55 PM and includes activities such as STEM, art, and neighborhood nature walks. The fee is $360 per month.

Parent & Tot

This program is designed for children who must be age 2 on or before September 1st. The program runs from Tuesday to 9:30-11:30 AM, and the yearly tuition is $1080. The supply and snack fee is $105, and the registration fee is $50. This program is designed for the child and caregiver to begin the preschool experience together.
