Our Mission

The Greater Columbus Home Builders Association (GCHBA) is a beacon of strength and progress within the construction industry, serving the needs of our community and our members for over 75 years. We are a not-for-profit organization with a steadfast commitment to fostering a thriving homebuilding environment in the Greater Columbus area, encompassing Muscogee, Harris, Marion, Chattahoochee, Talbot, Taylor, and Troup Counties.

As the second Home Builders Association established in Georgia, following Atlanta's lead in 1947, we have evolved into a robust organization with a diverse membership that includes builders, remodelers, developers, trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, financial institutions, real estate companies, and professional service providers. Our footprint extends beyond local boundaries, as we are proudly affiliated with both the Home Builders Association of Georgia and the national voice of the industry, the National Association of Home Builders in Washington D.C.
