Welcome to Shalom Orchard Organic Farm and Winery, located in Franklin, Maine. Our farm is situated on a ridge with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We are a certified organic farm, committed to producing a variety of organic fruits, vegetables, and livestock products. Our mission is "Peace with Nature, " reflecting our dedication to organic farming practices.

Our farm dates back to around 1840, and we've been farming here for as long as anyone can remember. The name "Shalom Farm" was given by an Episcopal minister in the 1960s, and we've retained the spirit of peace and harmony in our operations. Today, we're proud to have over 1,000 apple trees in our orchard, along with blueberries, cherries, and raspberries. We also grow a variety of vegetables for retail sale from our farm store.

In addition to our agricultural pursuits, we're passionate about educating about organic farming and welcome school groups and tours. We participate in the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners apprenticeship program and are committed to sharing our enthusiasm for sustainable living.

Our tasting room is open daily from 12-5 during the spring and fall. Winter tastings are available by appointment. Come visit us and experience the beauty and tranquility of Shalom Orchard.
