Saddleback Children's Center is a Christian preschool and ministry of Community Lutheran Church that has been serving families in our community since 1983. Our Philosophy

At Saddleback Children's Center, we believe that all children need, expect, and deserve to be guided in a way that will help them feel safe, happy, healthy, and well-adjusted. Our program is designed to help children learn and develop to their full potential. We relate the Christian message of faith, love, and acceptance to children living in a changing world.

Our Mission Statement

We intend to promote the development of the whole child throughout their preschool education here: physically, socially, emotionally, creatively, intellectually, and spiritually. We will provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment in a developmentally appropriate program. We respect and seek to meet the needs of each child by engaging them in positive experiences that will help children learn, grow, and have fun. It is our hope that each child will leave Saddleback Children's Center saying and believing, "I am a good person, I am a great thinker, and I love to learn."

Outdoor Classroom Experience

We believe that learning does not end in the classroom but continues in the outdoor environment. Learning centers extend to our outdoor playground allowing children to dig in the sand and garden areas, to take off their shoes for heightened sensory experiences, to engage in water play freely, to challenge gross motor skills, and to intentionally explore art, music, and dramatic play.

Our Programs

Saddleback Children's Center offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of children aged 2-5 years old. These programs include:

• Daily Program: Our daily program is designed to provide a structured and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
• Special Programs: We offer special programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of our children, including art, music, and physical education.
• Our Christian Program: Our Christian program is designed to help children understand and appreciate the Christian faith in a way that is appropriate for their age and developmental stage.
• Summer Program: Our summer program offers a fun and engaging way for children to continue learning and growing during the summer months.
• Outdoor Classroom Project: Our outdoor classroom project provides children with the opportunity to explore and learn in a natural environment.
