Our History and Experience

Established in 1977, Thelen Cabinet Company has been perfecting the art of custom cabinetry for over 40 years. Our journey began with humble beginnings, when Jeff Thelen opened his first shop in 1968, not as a cabinet shop, but as a music shop. However, his passion for carpentry soon led him to vocational school, where he learned the craft of fine carpentry. By 1977, Thelen Cabinet Company was incorporated, and Jeff moved out of his family's plumbing shop into his own building in downtown Farmington. Over the years, we've continued to grow, expanding our facilities and incorporating cutting-edge technology, such as CNC nesting equipment, to stay ahead of the game.
